A fast Multilingual Ghost theme for News and Content-heavy Publications

Important (only for multilingual features): Crimson requires a separate Ghost installation for each language you want to support.
For example, if you want a Spanish version of your site, you’ll need to set up a separate Ghost instance at www.example.com/es. The default language will be in it's separate Ghost installation at www.example.com.

Please keep this in mind before making your purchase. We’ve explained the setup process in detail in our documentation.

Note: Crimson is a fully multilingual-ready theme, but you can also use it as a regular single-language theme—just like any other theme on the marketplace. No special server setup or subfolder installation is required in single-language mode. It works perfectly out of the box for single-language sites.

3. Customisation Options

• Accent Color - Change accent colors for light and dark mode. That means you can have one color for light mode and a different color for dark mode.
• Dark mode logo - Upload a logo specifically for dark mode. For light mode you can directly upload it via the Ghost's built-in 'Publication logo' setting.
• Typography - Crimson supports built-in typography option by Ghost. Also we have added custom setting for some more custom fonts.
• Pagination - Two different options for pagination - Infinite Load or Paginated Pages.
• Contact Form - Easily add a contact form endpoint to start receiving form submissions directly on your email.
• Multilingual Features - Enable or disable multilingual features of this theme. If disabled, you can use it as a normal single-language theme like most of the themes in marketplace. If enabled, you will see some more settings related to Multilingual setup.
• Support all Ghost Editor cards.

4. Multilingual Settings

• Easily enable or disable Multilingual feature with just the toggle of a button in custom settings.
• Crimson also supports automatically opening the language based on the visitors browser language.
• Once you set-up Multilingual features, Crimson will behave as a true multilingual theme. You can translate everything, including Ghost portal, author names, tag names, and more.

5. Post Templates

Crimson has 5 variations in the post templates. Using these variations, you can select table of content, sticky subscribe form or a sticky table of content on a post.

You can select a default template to use for all the posts using the custom setting - Default post template.

You can also override the template for each post by selecting the template in individual post setting.

6. Home Page Customisations

• Crimson offers 3 different variations for showing the tag sections on the home page.
• You can easily select the tags to show on the homepage.

7. Custom Pages

• 3 different variations in the Home page.
• Author archive page to show all authors.
• Tag archive page to show all tags.
• Archive page to show all posts grouped by Month.
• Contact page with a contact form.
